Recently I bought Honor Band 5 from TATA CLiQ for my own use. So I though of sharing my experience and a bit of review about this product. Other sites like Amazon, Flipkart offered Honor Band 5 price for Rs.2199/- but at TAT CLiQ it was Rs.2099/- without any coupon code as of 21st Jan 2021. Before buying Honor Band 5 I searched and compared with many other competitive products like MI band 5, MI band 4, Fitbit Charge 4, Garmin Vivo Sport 4. The product which has inbuilt GPS are costly then the one which has connected GPS. I'm a normal user who just wanted to track my steps or activity so I decided to go with the connected GPS and the price is also low.
I'll be using this Honor Band 5 along with my Samsung A71 (4G model). To start I just have to install Huawei Health App and pair the band with the app.
My major confusing was either to go with MI band 5 or Honor Band 5 since their is a very huge promotion going in online for MI band 5 every site you see shows MI band on number 1 in their list.
What made me chose Honor band 5 over MI Band 5 is its accuracy. Without accuracy features wont really matter right? otherwise there are other brand available in the market for less than 1000 bucks with inaccurate data than why choose MI Band 5 for 2499/-.

I've received the device with zero battery charge so I suggest that you charge the device first and then start using it.
I charged the device first, it took max 1.5 hours from battery 0% to 100%. Then I updated the firmware to latest version.
Warranty as mentioned in the warranty card is 12 months for device, 3 months for data cable, 6 months for battery and charger.

Build Quality of the band is rich and I didn't faced any types of irritation after wearing it for 4 days constantly. Considering a fitness with sleep tracking I wore this watch for 24 hours. Also, the lock type of this band seems reliable.
Since the sweating pattern varies person to person I recommend you to at least clean the belt with a wet wipe or wet cloth once every 24hours.

Two things were not working which are present in the health app so I removed the option from the main menu itself. - Cycle calendar you can check the last image for the error message.
- Stress monitoring when I select that option I get the error message as "Connect a supported device to test your stress level." you can check the image which I added below for the error.
- If you keep the music player on, the battery will drain fast so I recommend to keep it off. I do not listen to music more and I can control the music using my earphone or Bluetooth headset easily so I kept it off to save some battery.
- I took 15 min of hot shower, I cleaned my 50ltrs fish tank then setup plants after filling about 45ltr of water wearing the band, band is still working.
- Connectivity between the band and the phone is not that good when it comes to ignoring a call. Normally when a call is received it vibrates and show cancel option in the display along with the caller information. If I want to ignore the call I can just double tap in the home button the vibration on the band will stop but it will continue to ring in the phone. Second if I make the call silent from my phone the band will continue to vibrate.
- I was an iWatch 3 user prior, don't know why Apple was asking for wrist selection (left or right hand) which is not available in this band so people who knows the reason behind it please convey that to me via comment.
- My profession is such that most of the time I sit in one place. Activity reminder which remind me if I sit in one place is not accurate it reminds me even if I stand or drive car or just walking.
- Band disconnect alert when I go away from my phone, it reminds me to carry my phone when I forgot to take with me.
- Notifications in the display is clear.
- Battery back up is 4 days with continuous real time heart rate tracking and 5 days with continuous smart heart rate tracking and 6-7days when continuous heart rate monitoring is disabled.
